I was requested to do a post about my grocery staples, which I was actually excited about because grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do.
I usually shop at Whole Foods because I live 3 blocks away from one, but I do enjoy shopping at Trader Joe’s and my local grocery store too. I go to Whole Foods for bulk items (spices, spirulina, nutritional yeast, chia seeds, etc) and luxury vegan items like vegan cheese or meats. I actually don’t buy vegan cheese/meat often because I want my diet to be primarily whole plant based, but I do splurge and indulge sometimes!
I like to go to Trader Joe’s and my local grocery store for more staple items.
Here is a list of what I keep in my kitchen all the time:
Granny Smith apples
Lemons + limes
Vegetables & Legumes:
Onion (white, yellow, red, green.. IDC I love them all)
Steel cut oats
Organic ketchup (It tastes so much better than non-organic)
Sweet chili sauce
Salt + pepper obviously
Plant based milk (I usually opt for soy)
Extra firm tofu
PB2 (Powdered peanut butter)
This is just an example of what I keep in my house.
